Dona was founded during the pandemic, when our founder,
Jasmine, developed a deep passion for baking and a commitment
to mastering artisanal techniques. What began in a humble home
kitchen evolved into a purpose-driven bakehouse built on
craftsmanship, discipline, and quality.
From the beginning, Doña has remained uncompromising in its
standards, using premium ingredients, respecting time-honoured
recipes, and prioritising process over speed. This philosophy
continues to define the brand today.
Over the years, Dona has grown into a neighbourhood bakehouse
recognised for its slow-risen sourdough, handcrafted viennoiserie,
and thoughtfuly designed spaces. Beyond products, the brand
focuses on building community, creating welcoming environments
that encourage connection, conversation, and shared experiences.
Today, Dona continues to expand while staying anchored to its core
values: craftsmanship, consistency, and people.

Our Founder
Yingying founded Doña in 2023, with a
vision to create a brand grounded in
craftsmanship, discipline, and long-term
intention. As Managing Director, she
oversees the company’s strategic growth,
operations, and brand development,
ensuring that each new milestone aligns
with Doña’s core values.
As Pastry Creator, she remains closely
involved in product development and
quality control, upholding the standards
that define the bakehouse. Her leadership
philosophy balances creative integrity with
operational structure, scaling the business
thoughtfully while protecting the
authenticity that built its foundation.
She believes in fostering a supportive and
collaborative work culture, empowering her
team to learn, grow and contribute to the
bakehouse’s success.
